*Sizing and Care Guide

A well-fitting bracelet should feel natural on your wrist. Not too tight, not too loose. Just right for everyday wear.

All Moe Gems bracelets are handmade based on the wrist size you provide at checkout, not by stone bead count (unless you specifically ask for a count). Because each piece is made using natural stones in varying bead sizes, proper sizing is essential for both comfort and appearance.

How to Measure Your Wrist

You will need a flexible measuring tape or a piece of string and a ruler.

  1. Wrap the tape or string snugly around your wrist bone. Not tight, not loose.
  2. Measure where you want the bracelet to sit, either slightly above or below the wrist bone.
  3. If using string, mark the length and measure it against a ruler.

This measurement is your true wrist size.

 Understanding Fit

  • Snug Fit
Sits close to the skin with minimal movement
  • Comfort Fit
    Slight movement, relaxed but secure
  • Loose Fit
More movement and drape on the wrist

Most customers prefer a comfort fit.

Stone Bead Size Matters

Stone Bead size directly affects how a bracelet fits.

Larger stone beads take up more space along the inside of the bracelet, which means the bracelet must be slightly larger to fit comfortably. Smaller stone beads sit closer to the wrist and require less adjustment.

This is why two bracelets made for the same wrist size can feel different depending on the stone bead size.

Sizing Guide by Stone Bead Size

EXAMPLE: If your wrist measures 6.5 inches, use the guide below:

Stone Bead Size

Suggested Bracelet Size

4mm to 6mm

6.75 to 7.0 inches

8mm

7.0 to 7.25 inches

10mm

7.25 to 7.5 inches

12mm and larger

7.5 to 8.0 inches

This scale adjusts proportionally for smaller or larger wrists.

If you are between sizes, sizing slightly larger is typically more comfortable than too tight.

 Additional Fit Notes

  • If you are stacking bracelets, a slightly looser fit is recommended
  • Larger stones will naturally feel more structured on the wrist
  • Natural variation in stones may slightly affect how a bracelet sits

You can include your preference in the Special Instructions box at checkout and your bracelet will be adjusted accordingly.

Custom Sizing

Each bracelet can be made to your exact wrist size.

By placing an order, you confirm that you have used this guide and provided your wrist measurement. If no measurement is provided, a standard size will be created.

Resizing

If your bracelet needs to be adjusted after purchase, resizing services are available.

 Common reasons include:

  • Incorrect wrist size provided at checkout
  • Weight fluctuation
  • Natural wear over time

Resizing is offered at a flat rate of $8 per bracelet, plus shipping.

To request a resize, simply reach out and you will be guided through the process.

Care Matters

To extend the life of your piece, proper care is essential.

For Stretch Bracelets

  • Avoid overstretching
  • Roll bracelets on and off the wrist rather than pulling
  • Do not snap or stretch aggressively when putting on

 For All Jewelry Pieces

  • Avoid water exposure
Moisture can weaken cords over time and may affect metal components such as clasps, crimps, and findings
  • Remove before showering, swimming, or exercising
Prolonged exposure to water, sweat, and chemicals can impact both the structure and appearance of your piece
  • Avoid dropping on hard surfaces
Natural stones have weight, and impact can cause breakage, chipping, or internal fractures
  • Store with care
When not in use, keep your jewelry in a safe place where it will not be pressed, tangled, or knocked against other objects

Natural stones are durable, but they are not indestructible. The materials that hold them together are designed for wear, but they require mindful care to maintain their integrity over time.

Designed to be worn. Made to be cared for.
