Chevron Amethyst (also known as Banded Amethyst or Dogtooth Amethyst) forms when layers of purple Amethyst and white Quartz grow together under high pressure, creating striking V-shaped patterns. Major deposits are found in Brazil, India, and Zambia, with some of the most visually distinct material coming from Madagascar.
