Origin & History

Aquamarine, a member of the Beryl family, has been treasured since ancient times... especially among sailors who believed it protected them at sea and ensured safe passage. Its name comes from the Latin aqua marina, meaning “water of the sea,” reflecting its tranquil, fluid blue tones.

Morganite, also a Beryl, was discovered in the early 1900s and named after financier J.P. Morgan. Its delicate pink hues have become strongly associated with compassion, emotional healing, and heart-centered awareness.
