This Moe Gems Signature Wrap Necklace blends the vivid green banding of Malachite with the royal blue depth of Lapis Lazuli, accented by a few sparkling 6 mm Clear Quartz beads to quietly amplify the energy of the whole piece. At approx. 35 inches long with bead sizes ranging from 6 mm to 12 mm, it can be styled in multiple ways: worn long, wrapped twice for layers, or even stacked creatively with other necklaces.

The design is finished with a Gold Stainless Steel Carabiner clasp, which can be switched out for other carabiner styles (see our Carabiner Page). The overall length can vary slightly depending on the clasp you choose.

🌍 Origin & History

Malachite

• Prized since antiquity, mined in ancient Egypt and the Sinai desert as early as 4000 BCE, used for amulets, eye pigments, and as a protective talisman.
• Historically associated with transformation and safe travels; in Europe, children once wore malachite amulets for protection.
• Found today in the Congo, Zambia, Russia, Mexico, and Australia. Recognized by its rich green concentric bands. Mohs ~3.5–4, softer and porous.

Lapis Lazuli

• Ancient stone from Afghanistan’s Sar-e-Sang mines (still producing today). Used by Egyptians for inlays and by Renaissance painters as the pigment ultramarine.
• A mix of lazurite, calcite, and pyrite inclusions (often giving golden sparkles). Mohs ~5–5.5.
• Associated with truth, wisdom, and vision across cultures.

Clear Quartz (accent beads)

• Found worldwide and valued in countless cultures. Ancient Greeks thought it was “eternal ice,” Japanese legends saw it as the “perfect jewel.” Mohs 7.
• Used in healing traditions as the “Master Healer” and amplifier of all other stones.

• Malachite is soft and porous; avoid water or acids as it can be damaged and leach copper.
• Lapis is often wax-polished; lower grades may be dyed—ours are natural.
• Clear Quartz is stable but should be protected from direct, prolonged sun to prevent brittleness.

Cleansing & Charging

Do’s:

Cleanse:

• • Place on a Selenite plate/wand.
  • Smoke cleanse with sage/palo santo.
  • Wipe gently with a dry, soft cloth.

Charge:

• • Moonlight (especially full moon) is best.
  • Place near Clear Quartz clusters to boost.

Don’ts:

• Do not soak Malachite—it is porous, can absorb water, and contains copper which may leach.
• Avoid harsh chemicals, saltwater, or acidic cleaners.
• Do not leave Lapis or Malachite in direct sunlight for long (can fade or dry out).
• If you use Hematite for charging, keep these stones separate—hematite may dampen amplification.
