This is a 100% natural, undyed Howlite with warm beige, tan, honey, and soft brown veining — unlike the bright stark-white Howlite often used for dyeing turquoise colors. This material usually comes from Canada or the western U.S. and is completely natural.  These particular stones are from Canada.

Howlite is a naturally occurring calcium borosilicate mineral first discovered in Nova Scotia, Canada in the 1860s. It quickly gained recognition for its distinctive, web-like matrix and soft, bone-white to cream coloration.

These stones - “Rustic Howlite” display natural tan, honey-brown, beige, and umber matrix, which is caused by iron oxide deposits and mineral impurities that formed alongside the Howlite. This coloration is completely natural.
